Biological Monitoring Season Most Successful To Date!
This year’s Biological Monitoring season was our most successful to date! Together, with the help of our dedicated volunteers and school partners, we were able to sample from 19 sites throughout the watershed (compared to 12 sites last year).
Now that the specimens have been collected, we need your help. We are seeking volunteers to help us sort the samples so we can assess the water quality of the rivers and streams from which the organisms were taken.
Join us to learn how to identify benthic macroinvertebrates and gain lab experience; we have multiple volunteer slots available. If you're interested, reach out to our Volunteer and Outreach Associate, Ryan Smith (rsmith@crwa.org).
