Dan Sieger
Daniel Sieger (Norfolk, MA) is an environmental and public policy professional with over a decade of experience in government and consulting. Dan served in senior environmental leadership positions under two Governors, including Chief of Staff for the Department of Environmental Protection, Assistant Secretary for Environmental Policy, and Massachusetts Undersecretary for Environmental Affairs. As Undersecretary, Dan was responsible for the day-to-day management of Massachusetts’ four environmental agencies, the Department of Environmental Protection, the Department of Agricultural Resources, the Department of Fish and Game, and the Department of Conservation and Recreation. In addition, Dan was responsible for leading priority environmental initiatives, including developing a proposed multi-state program to reduce transportation emissions and permitting the country’s first utility-scale wind farm. After leaving government, Dan worked for VHB as a permitting consultant for large-scale real estate projects and currently works for RWE, a global clean energy developer, leading the development of their New York Bight and Gulf of Maine Offshore Wind Projects.
